| | So I guess the question all of you are asking is... "What's wrong with Brad?" I would like to tell you that he hit a tree while snowboarding, got knocked out while playing basketball, or fell over the Grand Canyon while rollerblading. Instead, I have to tell you that he is being infected by the xanga disease. No he still doesn't believe in a public scrapbook, but most of his daily readers are not "public" and after all, it is just the internet.
Ok, the real reason I am posting is because a couple guys I work with, and go to church with, taught me how to climb a few weeks ago. Here are a few pictures for anyone who is interested...
This was the second climb. It almost kicked my rear. Oh yeah, and that thing hanging from the back of my harness is not what you might first think. It is a bag of chalk that you rub on your hands to help you grip the rock.

Here is a cool picture of Tyson (my bro) coming back down after the first climb.

Awesome way to get a kink in your neck.

Here is a group shot. From right to left... Myself, Josh (friend from work and church), Tyson, Craig (friend from church), and last Peter (friend from work and church).

While Peter was busy belaying for a climber, Josh and I decided to advertise the "pant leg in sock" style he was modeling.

This is how I really feel about it

Here I am belaying for Peter, which basicly means he is at my mercy. We have a love/hate relationship, so I was enjoying this.

Climbing is a dangerous sport and must not be done carelessly. There are guidlines you must follow and precautions you must take. While climbing there are some things you can never let go of...

Well, that should be enough for now. Peace out everyone. |
